Charlotte, NC - The National Association of Police Athletic/Activities Leagues, Inc. (National PAL) announced today that Bridgette Wright recently joined National PAL as it’s new, Project Manager, Law Enforcement Engagement for the recently awarded DOJ COPs Grant.  Wright, who has a background in the creative field including marketing and public relations, recently served as the Editor-in-Chief of a regional publication in the Carolinas.

In this new role, Wright will be responsible for providing support to local law enforcement agencies interested in starting a PAL Chapter, as well as, developing tools and resources for active PAL Chapters to achieve organizational success, including the new PAL Toolkit and overseeing the Inspirational Awards initiative.  She will also assist with PAL’s national branding, marketing, and public relations campaigns, including managing all of PAL’s social media networks.

National PAL is excited and proud to welcome Bridgette Wright to its team,” said Jeff Hood, National PAL’s Chief Executive Officer. “Bridgette brings with her a wealth of knowledge, experience, and professionalism to our organization.  Her level of commitment, understanding and project management skills will surely be an asset. Wright has over 10 years of experience in public and media relations, marketing, and management with a proven track record establishing media relationships and brand loyalty. She is highly successful in designing, implementing and evaluating creative marketing and communications campaigns, leveraging strategic partnerships, social media networks, and special events.

Prior to her role as Editor-in-Chief, Wright worked as the Corporate Marketing and Communications Director for a Charlotte-based company, overseeing sales, marketing, advertising, and teaching industry-based seminars.
