JULIE REDCAY NAMED NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF POLICE ATHLETIC/ACTIVITIES LEAGUES CEO
Preventing juvenile crime now “more important than ever” says child advocate
CHARLOTTE, N.C., June 1, 2023 - The National Association of Police Athletic/Activities Leagues, Inc. (National PAL) announced today that Julie Redcay has been named Chief Executive Officer of the organization. National PAL serves around 200 hundred chapters nationwide in helping prevent juvenile crime by building mutual trust and respect between young people and law enforcement.
Ms. Redcay brings a unique strategic vision to the helm of the organization, reflecting her experience as a leading national nonprofit compliance leader and children’s advocate.
“The National Police Athletic and Activities Leagues prevents juvenile crime and breaks generational cycles of poverty by giving children better pathways to success,” said Ms. Redcay. “I am thrilled to lead this organization at this important time for our nation and our youth.”

Before joining National PAL, Ms. Redcay was senior director of federal grants at Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, where she stewarded more than $54 million in federal funding to serve more than 49,000 children nationwide.
Previously, she worked in Higher Education Strategic Planning and Grants, where she led the 10-year economic impact audit of federal, state and local funding for Hillsborough Community College, the fifth largest community college in Florida's State College System.
Ms. Redcay holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Florida and a Juris Doctor and a Master of Laws in Advocacy from Stetson University College of Law.
